This board jizzed itself for skyrim and this game is better (imo fwiw)
From what I've seen so far, I agree. The world is so much better and more realistic, combat is MILES AHEAD (doesn't feel like your beating a stuffed animal). Loading times are way better. Game looks better and not nearly as cartoonish.
Most importantly, though, every quest has a personal feel to me. In Skyrim. some quests are obviously there as fetch quests for xp and rewards. Every quest I've played so far (all the sidequests in Flotsam) is very well thought out.

Anyways, carson, how are you developing your char?
2 pts in Hardiness, 2 in Parrying, 2 in vigor regen, 1 in dagger throwing, 1 in Fortitude, 1 in Aard Sign, 1 in riposte, 1 in footwork. I doubt I'll mess with Alchemy too much

Couldn't agree more. I was thinking about the quests specifically earlier. A lot of the quests felt like a chore in skyrim, and the quests in witcher 2 are way more enjoyable.. So far.
Beating a stuffed animal nice.
