Before Hamilton left I think that was probable to be fair.
Thanks actually.

He's a consistent 4th place in that conference. Resources? North Texas in the scheme of that conference probably outmatches most and sit in a far better recruiting position than their counterparts and he's still mediocre.
Good summary. IF Alleva settles for Jones, then the administration is telling us IDGAF about the basketball program. If we wanted Collis Temple as the man behind the curtain, we could have just kept Brady.

Nevermind, this was the straw for me.

Find that thread please. Did not happen. Trent's time here was over when Hamilton left.

You knowingly present Lester Earls appolgy and skipped over the part where he said Jones paid 4 truck notes for him and then gave him a few $250 payments. But not the $6,000 lump payment.

Johnny Jones isn't Nick Saban.. If we are willing to pay 2 million then we should be getting a higher pedigree coach

Well, I do think other coaches that we may never know about would have told us no if we do settle for Jones.

Brown and Jones, who was initially alleged to have given Earl $6,600, were cleared of all violations. Still, Earl in his letter felt they both deserved an apology.

Show me please any kind of proof that Jones did ANYTHING WRONG AT ALL.

You could be talking about the next Dale Brown.
Is that supposed to be a compliment?

Jones could come in and lock down this state.
You buffoon..........the teams in this years final 4, had approximately 15% of their rosters come from high schools within their respective states.
Kansas, Ohio, Kentucky all have much better high school basketball talent than Louisiana does......
So what you want is to be competitive every 7-10 years when the state has a bumper crop of high school talent?

Do you have reading comprehension problems? Tell me please sir what Jones had to do with the sanctions...because by all accounts, that was due to Lester Earl having lied to the NCAA.

Not saying we don't need them, but you can't survive on LA players alone. How many McDonalds All-Americans does Louisiana average per year in basketball? The talent here is so-so, but to be competitive you need to recruit on a national level.

I don't give a fricking shite. I've heard all that bullshite about early lying blah blah blah. The fact of the matter is we were hammered, it was Jones heading it, and it's taken us an eternity to come back from it and now you want us to hire this guy? gtfo

Where are you digging for all your sunshine from? Youre just a really happy fella huh?

Haha so the guy in the middle of the entire scandal (Lester) ADMITS he lied and Jones had nothing to do with it...but you still blame Jones? Smart guy you are. You obviously have a lot of information and facts to back up your view on the matter.

I expect LSU to be successful in Basketball. All I am saying is that Jones is an unknown. It's not necessarily a bad hire. He's a risk. I don't think stating that is that crazy.
