Not sure if you happened to notice our government has a spending problem. They look at you as investment, and think "man he really needs this money (supply/demand). With this money he is going to make a shite ton more money later on in life to pay it back". Let's frick with him a 6.9% interest rate. When they themselves only pay 3.2% on a "30 year loan"

It isnt that bad. Primary care fields have loan repayment programs and most specialties make enough to pay it off quickly.
