is Stan Heath. I thought he was a pretty good coach while at Arkansas, and doing a good job at UCF. Beyond that, realisticly, to get a big time coach to take this program at this point in time, seems unrealistic. Top young assistant who is a great recruiter may be the best choice now.

what did you see in him that made you think he was a good coach?
heath's record was 82-71 overall--not much above .500.
his conference record was a dismal 31-49.
if you can't do better than that at arkansas, he would probably do worse at lsu.

If we're gonna go after former Razorback coaches, let's just get Nolan. At least we know he can recruit the state well.
