Friend and I were discussing music the other day and we were discussing subject matter. Whenever a a song sung by a woman came on, it was about Love or a relationship.

We just blanked on some songs that weren't, but from what I can remember(drinking game):

1. Zombie-cranberries

Belly Feed the Tree
The Breeders Cannonball
Sinead O'Connor Mandinka

Although I have not analyzed the lyrics, that's just off the top of my head

Spins around, around, around a tree
Silver baby, come to me

See how the black moon fades

I don't think I wrote the OP correctly...not Lust either, not sex, not anything about love in any of its incarnations.

"my milkshake brings the boys to the yard"...I consider about sex/love

describing southern blacks being hung from trees, Great..er.I mean, not great that they were hanging, but it is a song that is not about love or relationships, and is a poetic piece/story

good (poetic/story), not very popular

Hollywood- Cranberries

quote:

I've got a picture in my head, in my head.
It's me and you, we are in bed, we are in bed.
You've always been there when I call, when I call.
You've always been there most of all, all, all, all.
