I want to land this guy so bad after reading that. Sounds like he's willing and eager to do anything (if he can't crack the 2-deep as a true freshman is more than willing to redshirt).

Absolutely. I love this guy's attitude. He knows the system Brick and Chief have in place and he's willing to pay his dues. I want.

quote:
It's a good situation for me," Gilmore said. "I feel like at LSU they're going to continue to recruit some really good defensive ends. I know the No. 1 guy (defensive end Robert Nkemdiche of Loganville, Ga.) has LSU in his top schools and in my opinion I think he's going to LSU. If LSU can get that type of defensive line class they're going to be a terror. They want to sign the best class. It's first come, first serve in my opinion."

Until the admins crack down on the SEC board doing it, I have no problem with it.

Awesome. Yes this could be a killer d-line class.

I would LOVE to have Greg Gilmore in this class! He is at the top of my wishlist, and I think we have a great chance of landing him.
Speaking of Robert Nkemdiche, I think he loves him some Honey Badger...

They have a few guys that are going to be there but they play eight guys. I can get in there and play right away or I could redshirt and get bigger and stronger and faster and be there two years and be in the mix."
Got to love a kid who is confident and smart. Not every kid is smart enough to know that no matter how good he is, with help he can get better. Even fewer have the balls to admit it.

"The coaches were very vocal and the players get what they deserve," Gilmore said. "If they mess up or don't pay attention they're going to get it. When they do something right they're going to get a back on the back of the head saying good job.
Wow, this guy wants to be coached not coddled. Sign him up ASAP!
