The good thing for Mo is that DBs usually have some of the lowest scores on the Wonderlic and the NFL only really worries about QBs and their scores so it wont really hurt him at all. And its sad if he has a learning disability, but he sure can play some damn good football. He will still be the top DB taken and go in the top 10. Not worried.

John W. Michel, an assistant professor at Towson University who co-authored the study, told the Washington Post: "We found in no cases was cognitive ability related to (football) performance. We did find a negative relationship for tight ends and defensive backs. For defensive backs, it was the most pronounced; basically, the lower you scored on the Wonderlic, the better you performed."

Just read this:

According to the National Football Post's Greg Gabriel, LSU CB Morris Claiborne was diagnosed with a learning disability in high school.
This helps explain why he registered a four on the Wonderlic Test. Per Gabriel, colleges that recruited Claiborne knew of the learning disability, which affects the player's ability to read. "Claiborne’s test score was NOT a true indicator of his intelligence," Gabriel writes. "He can and does learn."

The Wonderlic score has nothing to do with how good of a player you will be. That said, scoring that low doesn't say much for your education.

Why do they give the wonderlic? It doesn't really matter what you get on it.

actually linemen, and particularly centers have to be smart.

over the years, DBs were/are the worst at standardized tests.

Do you get special consideration taking the ACT when diagnosed with a reading disability? It just amazes me he could score high enough on the ACT yet make a 4 on the Wonderlic.

Yes you do. You get extended time.

Scored bad on purpose for more publicity. May be a smart move in the long run. Kind of like reverse psychology.

If I were an agent would not let my clients even take this test. If he scored a 28 would it make Mo higher pick ? He should worry that he runs a 4.6 that would cost him several million a year not the wonderlic.

I heard on ESPN earlier today that Dan Marino and Vince Young had the exact same score.

Meanwhile, didn't Greg McElroy get damn near a perfect score, which got him a job on the Jets practice squad?

I don't know why anyone pays attention to these things. It's clearly pointless. If I knew I was going 4th or 5th overall this year I might not even show up.
