Assuming Payton's appeal is denied, I would like Tuna to be interim HC. However, I think it's wishful thinking on our part. Does this have a legit shot of happening?

but all the experts on here initially said that the idea of an interim was crazy...

I say it's a no-brainer and would be a brilliant move by benson, loomis, and payton from a business perspective.

That's been the question around here. Either way you will see it posted 50 times when it happens.

Yesterday I thought it wasn't likely. Today I have flip-flopped. I think its more 60-40 that he takes it. If he didn't have a serious interest in the job he would have told the media he didn't want to do it already. Even if he isn't the coach, I think there's an even better chance he comes on as a consultant, like 75-25

Let's wait for this first. The mood seems to be shifting toward a potential suspension reduction.

That's the million dollar question. Well it would be more than a million, but you get what I mean.

Spoke w/Sean Payton. He golfed with Bill Parcells. No #Saints job offer is imminent; “down the road” if happens. Story ASAP @FOXSports.com

Down the road?
The suspense is gonna kill me.

Even if he takes the job, we still have to interview a minority candidate that isnt under contract to another team already. Who outside of football would sit down for a sham of an interview when they already know the Tuna is going to get the job?

I say he doesn't take the job. He's 71 years old. He was pretty whipped when he left Dallas.
