I keep hearing a lot of negativity directed at him from draft analysts. Things like he's soft, doesn't play hard, etc. Seems his draft stock is sliding?

What's up LSU fans? Is he just a physical specimen? Would you want your NFL team to draft him?

I think it's more of a situation where he went from not on the radar to a top 5 pick overnight. People took a deep breath and started evaluating him a little more critically and he's settling into where he should have been in the first place which is around 12-18 or so.

He's not really in terms of strength and speed.

He was very effective and has a good work ethic. If my main need was DT I take Brockers probably. He is a case of people needing to judge on game film more than combine results.

I agree with this as well.

Top 10 pick may be a bit of a reach for a guy who played on such a deep D-line in college and only has one season of full play... his abilities now are based on potential. I think top 15-20 would be a good spot for him...

He played much more athletic than his combine stats revealed, that was pretty interesting. His pro day stats were a bit better, but that's pretty typical.

Everybody was pumping Poe after the combine.

Then there were a bunch of quotes coming out from people in the league (anonymously, of course) saying that Brockers game tape was far more advanced than Poe's.

I think he will be a good NFL player, but almost every one of these picks will be about potential. There is no such thing as a safe draft pick, really.

I think it all depends on the situation. If the panthers take him I will understand any one else I will be suspicions

While this may be true, Brockers only has 3 years of legit weight room experience. His ceiling is still growing. Keep in mind, he played DE in high school.

Also Agree.

The speculation for a top 5 or 10 grade was that he was going to go into the combine and absolutely blow it up and put up strength numbers for DT's and run like the LB's. In the end he didn't light up the combine like it was speculated. He will still be a high draft pick just not top 10.

overhyped , dont see where the hype is coming from....reminds me of how tyson jackson shot up the draft charts and I think the same about Jackson as I do him solid player but nothing special

Dude is overhyped as a top 10 pick but comparing him to Tyson Jackspn is crazy. He's exponentially better than TJ was. He should be drafted in the high teens/low twenties in a perfect world but need and position value could cause a team to reach on him; doesn't mean it's a bad pick.

Are you kidding me? He was dominant last year. Don't compare him to Jackson, who mailed it in after his soph season

Brockers is huge and moves well, he could potentially be a consistent pro bowler

And remember, he came to LSU as a thing lanky DE, he's just now growing into his body. He'll start out slow but unthinkable he'll be outstanding in time

Absolutely. Dude is a freak and has some great abilities in all kind of skills.

Also, a forgotten name with LSU fans is Akiem Nicks....watch out for him, he will be a steal for a team and have a decent NFL career.

If i need at Dline player in this draft i think 10 or 11 would be the first pick that id be willing to take brockers. and obviously any pick after that.

i think 10-20 is a good range of where he will go IMO
