Just saw this story on PTI. I know Lebron catches a lot of flack from people, and sometimes it is justified, but no matter your opinion on the guy, this is a class move. Apparently he helped organize the idea.

What are you guy's thoughts on the Heat taking this photo in honor of Trayvon Martin?

For those who have their head under a rock, this explains the Trayvon Martin story:

To the extent this encourages people to wear hoods,, I think it's a bad idea.

What would have been real class move, help the family pay for the kid's funeral.

1. Things like that are usually done very quietly, and you never know about it.

2. Pretty sure the kid was buried a couple of weeks ago, probably before they even knew of this story.

Just play basketball...he's not Ghandi...do what you do and leave PR statements to the politicos.

I think he had good intentions with the idea but the fact that no one knows the story yet makes me leery.

We don't know the whole story. Every time a black young man dies it's the same story. He was such a good kid.

He was killed inside the gated community that his dad lives in.

One man had a gun. One teenager had a box of candy.

Should have paid for lost wages too

And the therapy they'll need.

And Heat season tickets.

And of course the money needed to make it to Miami for the games.

And might as well get them a house in Miami while they're at it

Should probably also hook them up with a job in the Heat organization since they're new to Miami and will need work

Would also only be right for them to get them new vehicles to go with their new house

...Or they could show their support with this picture...

We don't know the whole story with OJ, but it didn't stop everyone from saying he's guilty.

So let's just assume that he wasn't a good kid? That's what someone in this thread was implying.

Wow...it's bad enough when you have overzealous, muscle-bound, skinhead cops pulling this stuff...

But some random "criminal watch" dude with a gun...why is he getting any presumption of innocence because he claims to patrol a neighborhood? If you have a gun and the other guy has Skittles, it's murder.

Imagine if we had OJ on his cell phone while chasing Nicole
