I know. I guess if you are Jacksonville and want to sell tickets and jerseys he might be worth a 6th or 7th. Beyond that I would think they're gonna have to just cut him loose unless NFL GMs are a lot dumber than I thought

The 49ers or Titans would have been much better places for him. The only thing Denver has going for them is a good head coach.

A guy that we won't have to worry about his career ending every hit he takes. He was Top 10 in rating last year. He's no star but it's the safe route. Even a healthy Manning isn't a shoe-in for the SB anyway. I don't want to be the '11 Eagles. We also save a lot of money.

I'm not sure what they think they'll get, but it's a deal that has to be done. You can't tailor your offense to fit a qb like Peyton with what you know about his neck in the back of your mind and a QB like Tebow on the bench. They will have to go out and get some prostyle QB
