Shep's 2012 production....over or under 650 yards?

I just am throwing out a number, as with all the uncertainties and changes, who knows what will be the case. Mett vs JJ. No Randle. CLM's re-recruitment of Shep and any promises to him to be a bigger part of the offense?
Anyway, throwing it all together, the number 650 seems like a number to throw out and discuss.
What you got? Is 650 receiving yards to high, about right, or too low?

What are his numbers from the previous seasons?
Posted on 3/15/12 at 10:39 pm to LSUSUPERSTAR
2009: 34 receiving, 277 rushing
2010: 254 receiving, 226 rushing
2011: 190 receiving, 52 rushing
I think Shep has it in him to get 650 in his 3rd full season working as a receiver. The question is how many opportunities will he be given. Beckham, Landry, and Wright are all more prototypical receivers and are probably more natural route runners. I'll say under for Shep, but with the new offense I'd gladly be mistaken if he emerges as a main component of the quick6nation they have alluded to

slightly high. I'm thinking more 500ish.

way under
once les doghouses you, your career is over. i'd be surprised if he gets 250 total yards

Receiving only? Under. Total? Over.

This.
I see the play calling opening up slightly, but not that much. Plus he'll be sharing the load with ODB and Jarvis so he'll be safely under 800.

Under, he's just not that good at reciever and we have trouble finding anywhere else to use him.

Under
All purpose? Over

Gonna say under. 500+- is my guess.
OBJ about 700, Landry 450
OBJ about 700, Landry 450

Under 650, probably under 500. Backs will get touches, we're going to work the te's more, Landry will break onto the scene.
Shep is just not that good. I aknowledge that people like him as a personality, as a spokesman, and for his potential, but I just can't see him being a 650+ yd receiver. Hope I'm wrong, hope he has 1600 yards receiving, just can't set my hopes that high for him.

Two words... UNDER.... BUST

Ill say 650 is about right.....maybe a tad high.
