I am curious what most people who keep up with baseball think about this series. Arkansas hasn't had many road test, but we did beat Texas on a neutral field in Houston, LSU has had some tough games against who appears to be a formidable opponent in App State, but has lost a couple they should have probably won. Is this a down year for LSU or are they just having trouble hitting a grove? I honestly don't know much about the team, but know that no win at the Box comes easily...thoughts?

ok look some people might want to stab me bc i dont look at all stats. you can tell a team is crappy and needs work just by watching them. you can tell that bc of other lineups before there time. so our batting is up 24 points. yeah well...thats cute. we have katz and others picking it up.....but where is our mahtook or dean in the group? exactly. i wanna see top notch pitchers buckle in the knee over just one top guy in our line up at least. gausmen and eades are lights out. mccune needs work. i dont like how people see where a player needs improvement but still let them play bc they think its....i dont know....i frkn phase. i dont like mccune on sundays. and im really worried about it. if ark shows up to play we either need to hit some hr's or pound the gap. our pitching will be there. closer- still undecided at this time. but i have a name - goody. i was rumbelow would be the guy cause he serious about his craft prob more then any closer on that team. but it will take time. we need to just get our shet together. sec plays starts .......now.

the most likely case. he is fiya!

Katz and Rhymes are tearing shite up so far this year. The only lacking stat is home runs, which, while awesome to watch and greatly increase the chances of winning, do not necessarily guarantee wins. Getting on base and clutch batting does, and that's the Katz-Rhymes duo in the 3 and 4 spot.

and yes, i did recently watch Moneyball

its called being stupid. and losing to a non conf should still matter. frk if its not sec play. you mean to tell me a guy can get ample amount of rest...come out and pitch four innings and its " well thats baseball "- no thats an embarrasment. if i wanted that kind of play i would root for the chatt mocs. wait....the who??? - yeah exactly

there's a reason he only pitched 2 or 3 innings tonight. also, it was the talk around the tarp crew this evening.

Last Tuesday

Nola (2-0) allowed just three hits in the brilliant effort and recorded no walks with a career-best six strikeouts. He threw 78 pitches, including 62 for strikes.

ETA: 8 innings

That was for tonight. He was limited to no more than 45 pitches TONIGHT, because he's pitching Sunday. They just wanted to get him some work since he hasn't pitched since he threw 78 pitches in 8 innings of domination last time out.

When you want to respond to someone's post, click on the post you wanna respond to. That way, it'll be known who you're responding to. See how on your posts, it says 'to NIGHTHAWK'? It should say 'to Fishhead' or whomever you're responding to. Very confusing.

I see you have figured out the quote feature...good job.
