As I noted in the OP I haven't followed our season game-by-game, but now that the season has played out how can Joe justify retaining Trent? IMO, to do communicates an incredibly (and unacceptably) low expectation of "success" in our basketball team.

I have no axe to grind or preconceived dislike with TJ. It's just that he's had time and hasn't gotten the job done.

+1 One would swear LSU has been an elite basketball power.LSU has won one SEC Tournament title in 1980 and reached the SEC tournament finals in 1993.That record hardly speaks of some type of basketball power.I remember when Dale Brown's team blew a 31 pt. half time lead to eventually lose to Kentucky a truly basketball elite power.(The game on Feb. 16,1994 was the largest comeback in NCAA basketball history)
