Heading to Vegas next month for the first time, and the wife and I will be looking for some good places to dine. Recommend a restaurant for each of the following categories...

I ate at Tao a couple of years back and it was amazing.

Buisness Lunch at The Palm was the best value I found while there.

Ambiance I really like the Otto Enoteca in the Venetian. But I like the feel better at
Trattoria Reggiano

Noodle No. 9 is interesting with the fishtanks and good fresh noodles you can watch them make.

Any experiences at Mix at the Mandalay Bay or Serendipity for bruch? My wife made plans for us to eat at these. She reserved at Mix because of its view of the strip.

We stopped at Serendipity just to get a sundae which was good but overpriced (something like 18 dollars)

Mix is a great time. Don't take the food to serious. It is standard for most restaurants, not amazing, but a fun place. You need to sit outside and enjoy the view.

I hear that RHUMBAR is a cool place to get afternoon drinks. The pics on the website make it look like just about the most boring place in Vegas.

Is this simply b/c it's a buffet?

Don't get me wrong... I love a high quality buffet.

Wicked spoon or buffet at the aria.

Your day time buffet will be 10 per person cheaper during weekdays.

They also have a brunch or an unlimited champagne dinner with a lobster plus the buffet for abt 35 per person at aria.

I personally like stripsteak at mandalay bay for dinner. Michael mina restaurant. Also, american fish in aria is a michael mina restaurant.

Serendipity , cool atmosphere esp if u sit outside at night. With good weather. Some entrees may be enough for 2 ppl there and desserts are good.

I really loved Earl's sandwiches. Cheap but tasty sandwich. Stop by for a snack.

Tao is always good. They have kobe steaks if you can throw down 160$ for one. If not, you can do kobe beef sashimi.

Andre's in Monte Carlo is an old fashioned french fine dining restaurant. Tried some of the best duck I've ever had there.

People seem to enjoy Ping Pang Pong (sp?). I thought it was alright, nothing special.

The 4 course prix fixe at Sage was only $75. For Vegas, that's a HELL of a deal. We didn't get the prix fixe, but everything we ate was outstanding and I have no doubt the prix fixe is too.

It was in the Aria hotel, which was the most beautiful of all hotels I went into. And the decor was purple and gold.. who can say no to that?

It is, but the quality is amazing and the items there are really good. Also, they have an all you can drink wine option that basically makes the experience.

Serendipity is great for dessert but I haven't tried the food. It looks good though. My wife loves sitting outside.

I just boarded my flight leaving Las Vegas so I don't have time to type a full list and reviews, but Il Mullino in Caesar's Palace Forum Shops may be the best meal I've ever had.

Hugo's Cellar in the Four Queens is my personal favorite in Vegas. I will be there in 3 weeks. Also Hash House A Go Go for breakfast.

Go to Tao for dinner, then go to their night club. Makes for a great evening.

Craftsteak at MGM was one of the better meals I've had. Prices were reasonable as well.
