Wasp Help!

Ok so every summer my backyard gets overrun with these devil things. I kill them and even leave their bodies scattered about to scare their buddies from choosing my yard, but it never works.
Are there ANY preventative measures I can take??
All I do now is hunt for their nests and wait till night time to spray the hell out of them. But they must have hidden nests in my balcony or along my fence or...who freaking knows.
Advice on how to keep them from growing in numbers before summer time gets here?

If there is a few places where they always make nests each year, I would spray it now. Then again in a month.

Just keep nukin em I guess.
Not sure if this matters, but as the gekko numbers at my house have gone up, the wasp numbers seem to have gone down. Maybe you could inport some gekkos???

You have to behead them, and leave their heads around the yard Vlad style, on toothpicks.

If you can get some Pounce, it's a restricted use pyrethroid, mix with water and spray wherever the wasps like to nest. If you can't get Pounce, Bengal roach spray will work on them also. I use the Bengal when they have a nest that you can't get to, spray it where they crawl in and out.
