I have been wanting to do this just to see how crazy different the projected class is to the real class a year away.

2-QBs-Connor Mitch, J.T. Barrett
4-WRs-John Diarse,Chuck Baker,Hakeem Deggs,D'haquille Williams(if qualified)
1-TE-Desean Smith
2-T-Kenneth Santa Marina,Josh Thomas
2-G-Josh Boutte,Karl Malone
1-C-Chris Taylor
3-DTs-Greg Gilmore,Tevin Lawson,Isaiah Golden
3-DEs-Torrodney Prevot,Tim Williams,Michael Patterson( if we dont pull a big name )
1-LB-Kendall Beckwith
3-S-Jeremy Cutrer,Priest Willis,Trevell Dixon
3-CB-Jeryl Brazil,Tredavious White,Ricky jefferson

Thats 25 for right now. Cant wait to see how many are right and how many are wrong. I have a strong feeling neither of these QB's will actually be the ones due to our recent history in QB recruiting, this position is usually a suprise twords the end. I would like to see all of your projections.

ETA- This is not my "wishlist" just my realistic projections. I would love to land a lot of other big names we are targeting but these are who I feel we will land...fire away

I don't see us putting another specialist on scholarship this year with Hairston and Wing going into their sophomore years.

Yeah, we're bringing in another walk on this fall. Alleman wasn't on scholarship his entire time. I just don't see us having multiple kickers on scholly for multiple years which is what would happen if we sign another one this year.

Hakeem Deggs has no hope for a scholly ...

That makes sense, I will change that.

Thats the point of the projection, a lot of kids out there will have good senior years and could pull an offer like Deggs and I also think the Dutchtown WR Christy could be another one simmilar to Holmes this past year, real fast wide out with limited offer list.

I dont see the staff taking any WR under 6' or 6'1 this year .... we have many wide outs in the 5'10" to 6'range ... too many. Why do you think we are offering all these Juco guys who are 6'4" to 6'6". We need taller wide outs not small speedy guys.

I think the kid is talented but with limited schollies this year due to numbers I dont see us going after that type of prospect.

It reminds me of the Jakhari Gore situation ... he has the talent but was too small to get off the line at WR and to small to play RB in the SEC.

You've got as much chance at being right as anyone else but just a few critiques though not a bad group overall.
MC=my choices

QB-Mitch and Barrett will be one or the other or neither. No way we get both. We can hope but it's highly unlikely. Do see 2 in the class but not those 2 together

MC-Conner Mitch and Devante Kincaide

RB-Think we take 1

MC-Adam Taylor

WR-love 3 of your guys particularly if Williams can get qualified but Ikm not holding my breath on that one

MC-John Diarse,Chuck Baker,Eldridge Massington(pure hope and wish)

TE-think it's obvious we want 2

MC-Desean Smith and Brian Bridgewater

OT-Would love for KSM to be in the class but for some reason our staff isn't that high on him right now. He'll commit to Bama sonner rather than later

MC-Josh Thomas(not a fan but who else is there)

OG-You're spot on

MC-Josh Boutte and Karl Malone Jr

C-we'll take one but not Taylor

MC-Ryan Hoefield

DE-Love your thinking with Prevot but don't see it happening.Do see 3 though

MC-Tim Williams(not confident at all),Kendall Beckwith,Micheal Patterson

DT-Again love your thinking. Do think we'll land a big time national guy but not sure who.Again I do see 3

MC-Tevin Lawson,Tanzel Smart,Christian LaCouture very conservative because I do think we'll land a monster

LB-I don't see Beckwith at LB no matter the pitch and I think 2

MC-Darion Claiborne and Melvin Jones

CB-You're spot on

MC-Tredavious White,Jeryl Brazil,Ricky Jefferson

S-I do see 3 and love your thought with Willis but I'm gonna need to see more before believing the hype around Willis' interest in LSU. Seen it too many times this early in the cycle to be fooled again

MC-Jeremy Cutrer, Carlton Perkins,Kameron Miles

That's 26 and I don't see how we get to that number but I get the feeling the coaches are gonna take more than most expect.

I really had a hard time leaving Ronald Lewis out. I love that kid and would love to find him in our class next February.

I'll bite. I usually only put these kinds of lists on TigerBait - but I'll break the ice here, as well. I doubt we get to 25 signees, so I'm stopping at 20:

OL - Josh Boutte
OL - Ishmael Wilson (I think we end up offering)
OL - Hunter Bivin
OL - Josh Thomas

TE - Desean Smith
WR - Chuck Baker
WR - Brian Bridgewater (yep, slot WR - not TE)

QB - Connor Mitch
TB - Adam Taylor

++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DT - Tevin Lawson
DT - Rod Crayton
DT - Greg Gilmore
DE - Tim Williams
DE - Christian Lacouture

LB - Kendall Beckwith (his 40 time doesn't bother me)
LB - Reggie Chevis (recruit as FB, move to MLB)

DB - Tre'Davious White
DB - Jeryl Brazil
DB - Jeremy Cutrer
DB - Priest Willis

+++++++++++++++++++++

If I add players, I would go with:
- another DE
- another WR
- another DB
- another RB
- another OL

I like so many... but your list looks good.

I still like Noel Ellis, Shelby Christie, Donald Gage, Carlton Perkins, and Ronald Lewis. Can't see the Deggs kids getting the receiver position over some of the others
