Again you guys aren't seeing Jefferson's primary strength. When he can't envision a receiver or determine where to throw the ball he panics and starts to run. Against slower defenses he then gains at least a few yards most of the time. To Les, Jefferson's panic response at least netted positive yards.

At the time he took over the starting position, J. Lee's panic response was to make a poor throw into coverage.

Panic response is what won Jefferson the starting position.

Of course that is not valuable to the NFL. But considering what we had to work with, that was enough here.

We have hopefully moved beyond this sad era.

There was no rational reason for JJ to replace Lee as the starter this season. JJ didn't win crap.

I don't know why anyone cares. He was probably the most polarizing player in LSU history.

Thank goodness he's gone.
