Why has the team struggled so much in the hitting department the last few years? And don't give me the draft excuse because every other D1 team has to deal with the draft also.

Well I can see why we got some such puddin teams to play early, cause thats where this program is at.
I believe its way to early to just be roasting coaches and such, but watching the game from the stands this weekend, I left early for the first time in my student time here, Sunday. So you couldn't hit a guy Saturday, thats fine, pitchers have awesome games. But to get 1 run on Saturday and Sunday against a cupcake team, is just unacceptable.

For example, in the last five years the fewest number of games won by Appalachian State is 32. They are a very respectable team.
Dartmouth has won their conference title in the past 4 years and gone to a regional.
We play Notre Dame and Michigan this season.
