Todd McSha(d)y said that Randle quit in National Championship

I hate that such a bad game can hurt a lot of players who were simply waiting for a pass that was never thrown.
McShay says Randle Quit
I haven't criticized ESPN or any other network for coverage before, but honestly... Did anyone else here see Randle "quit"?

Okay not rehashing this. Our coach was running up the middle in the 4th quarter down by 2 scores. It is safe to say it seemed like everyone quit once a change wasn't made to that horrific gameplan.

Even on the Rant, I think he might be the first one to have said that?

I thought the whole team pretty much quit around the time Bama scored their first TD.

I remember one shitty bubble screen in particular where he hardly tried to block past being a human shield. He quit because JJ couldn't get him the ball but this type of questions is the outcome of doing that.

Me and you saw the exact same thing. It's over. It is what is and McShay is a Douche for saying this.

Why?

Our receivers would just stop and start walking when Jefferson was fumbling and throwing INT's.

McShay said that pretty much the day after the game. said Randle was loafing on routes. I didn't notice and don't wanna watch it again to confirm.

Why
Because one game isn't a true representation of a player. Come on, our whole team was lethargic at one point or another that night.

Did McShay say anything about Les Miles quitting on the LSU receivers in the last two games of the year? To steal a quote from Mrs. Tom Brady, the receivers can't throw the ball to themselves.

Yea he quit, the whole team quit. They were just following the lead of their head coach

He didn't say he will always do it his whole career because of that one game he just said it happened that game.

It's unfair for McShay to say this about a kid that is busting his arse trying to be a top pick in the draft when it is not known for a fact that that is even true.
bullshite on dipshits part

Oh, give me a break.
He was clearly trying to make some sort of inference about RR as a player, otherwise, why even bring it up?

The biggest game of his college career?
pretty good representation. How can anyone quit on that stage?
people defending it because of the "poor gameplan" are just being homers. It is indefensible

I'm sure he did. RR knew the ball wasn't going to be thrown and he was basically a blocking dummy. RR has never liked Miles sense his freshman year. A former coach at Bastrop told me LSU never had a chance with Devall and I asked why. His exact words was "Rueben".

Steff: He didn't quit.
Nickerson: What did you say?
Steff: Randle, he didn't quit. None of us quit. I don't know. We beat those guys asses up and down that field tonight! We got nothing to be ashamed of, right? Isn't that right? Maybe the scoreboard doesn't say it, but we won that game. We held them. It was just a fluke. That's all. It's just a fluke.

Because it's commonplace for a draft analysis/NFL scout to list pros and cons of a player.
