Bump.
More than likely my transmission has bit the dust. The truck is worth $5k in good condition but I'll be lucky to get $3k with a shot transmission. You said to not have your trade-in and new purchase based on each other, but I'm kind of at the dealer's mercy on that one. If not, I'd like to know how to handle this one.

Do you have another dealer within a 50 mile radius that you can deal with and doesn't know you have a vehicle that you're possibly looking to trade in?
