Where can I buy an oyster shucker. The contraption not a person or the knife. I know they sell them online, but I was wondering where I could get one around here(here being new Orleans)...

I would try some restaurant supply places. That would probably be your best bet.

Rouse's and Winn Dixie in Mandeville/Covington sell them right at the seafood section.

Baldwin Taylor Ace Hardware in Old Jefferson has them.
