Coffee Question

More often than not, I find when I pour a cup of coffee in the office or someone else's home, I can see the bottom of my cup until its halfway full. This offends me; I want to drink coffee, not coffee flavored water. When I make coffee, this is not the case, but people complain that it's 'too strong.'
I thought you were supposed to use 1 heaping TBSP per 6 ounces of water (or something in that ball park). There's no way the office coffee comes anywhere near that benchmark.
One chick wouldn't STFU about how strong the coffee was when I made it one morning. I wanted to tell her she could kindly kiss my arse & drink the Royal Cup garbage on the other side of the office.
