that's why I mentioned I've seen other numbers too (like savings on cutting Smith). Cap management is so vital and the public is now aware of it that an official list of such things would be nice rather than scouring assorted sources with different takes. It should get much clearer soon though once the cap is announced and the new league year starts.

This is what I love about Loomis, the man is a genious when it comes to numbers with the cap.
Remember last year with all the free agents we had most thought there was no way we could keep the team together.
Granted most were not key personel but the man worked it out where we kept the key people and still had the money to sign some FA's.
Just hope we can see some of that same kind of magic this year.
