Anybody got a theory on why Tiger the past couple of weeks has been blowing his wedges past the green?

I think his new swing is working but he seems to be missing by 15 yards or so long on the wedges.

Hitting the ball more pure than he's used to the last 2 years. I think he doesn't feel he can come off his follow-through for the fact he's used to leaving it short. He'll settle back in to his "Tiger swing."

At Pebble they were saying that due to his recent swing changes, his hands are farther forward in his downswing, so he takes a much steeper angle at the ball and takes out a bigger divot than most with the wedge, so my guess is, he's still getting used to hitting them.

I work At this course and am working this event. Gave Toms some purple and gold beads to put in his bag on Tuesday and followed him all afternoon. Yelling geaux tigers and such. Guy definitely knows me at this point but as I was driving by the range two bama fans saw my shirt and started with the roll tide... I proceeded to tiger bait em and Toms heard it on the range and gave em a tiger bait too! Bad arse! Told him I would see him tomorrow and to cheer for the tigers against Georgia tonight
