Good looking young player. Looks aggressive. 280lbs bench isn't bad at all for a kid that size at that age.
Does he play basketball?
Two words of advice- work on his flexibility (it will help him play low/with leverage which any lineman can always improve), and tell him not to go to Bama's junior day.

For a Soph in High School at any size or in any position to bench 280 lbs is actually very, very, very impressive. When he gets into a college weight room, he will explode in power/hang cleans, squat, bench, etc. Before you know it, he'll be doing 350, 550 and 400 in these lifts. ANd there is so much more than lifting. Enjoy high school ball, always work on footwork, get him to camps at different sized schools and the NUC, Scout, ESPN/Nike variety. But in the back of your mind, picture what he will be like in about 4 years, with a redshirt year and freshman year under his belt...and still 3 years of eligibility left. Also, I suggest have a professional video company specializing in football, make a video of just junior highlights and send to recruiters...he will look so much better each year and after junior year is when recruiting kicks in...that spring, summer and the senior fall. Then you can always add some senior highlights too. Tell him "hard every play," because you will probably get asked for an "entire game" video too...there will be some bad plays, but scouts expect that...they want to see how you respond afterward. I like a dad who promotes his son...you freakin raised him and you know him better than anyone. Use the camp traveling as fun time, good bonding time, too!
