The parade was not Muses, it was Krewe D'Etat which is always satirical.

So you attended the parade and thought it was Muses or Morpheus, which both rolled on a totally different night (Thursday) than D'etat??
Apparently satire is lost on most of ya'll. The float tells the story of this past season and it's championship game. Like it or not, LSU pro or con, Jefferson WAS rolled by a Crimson tide and Saban DID appear to be a Superman in comparison to Les Miles' coaching ineptness during that game. As a lifelong Tiger fan, I am well aware how much this truth hurts, but it is the truth, no matter how much our fanbase tries to spin it.
Like the cartoon South Park, no topic is considered sacred or off-limits to D'etat. They skewer politicians, athletes, movie stars and anyone else who has exhibited questionable or boneheaded behavior.
I'm not mad at the Krewe for the float...I am mad that LSU's performance on Jan. 9 made it fodder to be skewered.

Don't make them think too much. Their heads might explode.

It's what every LSU fan is thinking. Why is everyone getting so mad. You should be mad at Les miles not the fans.

i was....i was also over it a few days later. So frick those guys.

Guys. It's a joke. Meant to make people laugh while out at the parades.
They make fun of mayor, police chief, gov., president, the pope, and probably their moms.

The rant was in a complete meltdown for weeks bashing Miles and that was cool. but a satirical parade pokes fun at the situation on one float and now it's a huge problem. Relax guys

Les Miles is the one u should be mad at. He is the head coach but is also Pig headed. He would rather loose the game than admit his game plan sucked. He also cannot make adjustments during the game. Help us Jesus.

Meh, the only indignant ones posting in here are charter members of TeamSwag that want us to get over it because the QB they spent weeks (actually years) pimping for stunk up the field, and spreadsheets and screenshots couldn't save him.
I just wish I had seen this in time to steal the concept for our Spanish Town float. After all, with the theme being "Conival", there was some ripe material to be had.
ETA-congratulations to me for making a 5 digit post count with this one.

Mardigrarita, If talking to me, I'm the one who actually knew the correct parade. Others clowns said Muses and Morpeus (which was Friday night so fail on you).
They can make fun of what they want, doesn't mean I have to like it.
And the pro Bama shite pissed me off, making fun of Miles is nothing new. A Bama float in a New Orleans parade is bullshite.
Chaos made fun of Miles with its Boob Job float, I dont like negativity towards LSU, but understood it.

Morpheus ran after D'etat Paco. Sorry I got the names mixed up. Please accept my deepest apologies.
