Thats a nice story, but it doesn't always work that way in the real world. I don't think anyone would purposely sulk and pout, but if people feel the team fricked Schaub, that could have lasting effects, its naive to say otherwide. They maybe pros, but they are also human.

The Jets had no quarterback in 06 and the Vikes had Tavaris Jackson coming off a bad season. Completely different

Apples and Oranges.
Neither of those teams discarded pro bowl QB's that had been with the team for 5 years and to make room for Favre.
The year before signing Favre, the Jets were 4-12, their QB;s were K Moore and Pennignton.
The Vikings were 10-6 the year before getting Favre with 37 y/old Gus Ferrotte at QB. Also their HC Brad Childress had a relationship with Favre.
both of those teams needed a QB the Texans do not. The teams I listed earlier, Az, Seattle, miami, Wash, you can add, Jax or Tenn are comprable to the Favre with the Jets/Vikes.

Neither of these teams had a decent QB.
