i hope this kid does not put all his eggs in one basket. He better be checking out other schools. Not saying he won't get offered, but I wouldn't bet the house on it
He might miss out on a team like USCw or a Bama by waiting till the summer on LSU, but the next-tier programs like Arkansas, MS State and aTm aren't gonna later turn down a kid this gifted just because he wasn't ready to commit by the end of his junior year.

Will we get an exception to policy to allow him to wear shoes that are blue and suede?

I don't know you, so why are you talking trash about me? You don't think I read this board? Do you really think a team like LSU is going to offer a kid because his coach is pushing him? Do you know how dumb that sounds? The reason I push is to see if they are serious or trying to slow play my kid, if your son was in the same situation I would believe you would do the same. He asks me for guidance so I give it and try to help him as much as I can. If that bothers you then there are always tap out shirts and punching bags take your frustration out there besides taking shots at me.

I think he can play running back at a few BCS schools but is built better for the secondary. I have spoke to some scouts and they believe he can play receiver and return kicks as well.

i worked the DSHS vs LOHS game last year and before the game we could hear the LOHS coaches in the neighboring room talking about how it wasn't a game, it was a Carlton Perkins highlight reel. Never seen the kid play though

I hope so too. I could see him returning kicks. Would you guys compare him to someone like drayton calhoun or dexter mccluster?

He's bigger than both those guys. He's a future 200+ pound kid with athleticism and speed. That's the draw to S. We are the opposite of Oregon. They put the best athletes on offense, we put them on defense. Love that fact. Offense can be schemed with lesser athletes and still be very productive. Dominant defenses have great athletes and scheme.
