Son of David Robinson up and coming recruit

The middle son of Hall of Fame basketball center David Robinson, Corey excels as a wide receiver at San Antonio Christian (Texas) High
The emerging portrait of 16-year-old Corey Robinson -- athlete, musician, scholar -- combines the light and shadow of two eras.
With excellent size (6-5, 190), speed (4.6 in 40) and athleticism, Corey Robinson is developing into a top-flight wide receiver

This was a confusingly poetic description of a potential future recruit.

No way David Robinson sends his kid to a state college.
If this kid turns out to be a D1 recruit, he'll go to Stanford, Notre Dame, Duke or Vandy.

He is not coming here. He is going to Stanford. How do I know cuz my daughter goes to school with him and is really good friends with him. He is very athletic and very strong but still needs a little more work to be an elite prospect.

What's the competition like in his league? Grew up in SA and I don't recall SACS having a football program...hell, I didn't think it had any athletics back in late 80s, early 90s.

The competition is not that great, I believe that they are 2-A. Dont know how old the program is.

If those are really accurate, he could be a stud.

He might grow in college like his dad did

He's not going to play basketball. He is more into football and knowing his dad, he wants a place with strong academics.
Also the younger brother is the one with the basketball skills but I believe he is UT all the way

if that happens forget WR, heck he may wind up the tallest TE in CFB

TAMU could land him, if they pitch it right. Corps/military atmosphere + good school + close to home + good football program.

What about TCU? His family is a family of faith. But, Mack Brown incorporates alot of faith on his team also.

seems easy to believe, his dad was one of the fastest guys on his team (even tho he was 7'1")
The idea of going up against DR's son at WR is kinda terrifying
