Does better if you keep it really cold. And u can mix in a little vaseline to hold it together better and keep it from softening so much in the water. Crisco works good too.
Prefer chicken livers though.

We'll probably bring our own bait (chicken livers or something) also, next time, but honestly, the dough balls were getting it done for everyone else there, so I'd like to make those work if I can.

I never did much catfishing growing up - always stuck to bass, crappie, etc, but around here it seems catfishing is the way to go, so I'm trying to figure it out....
