Blake Griffin is not defending his slam dunk title?? WTF

I think it is. Look the only reason he is starting for the All Star game is because fans want to see him dunk. Now "dunk contest aren't your thing". Dunk contest and dunking made Blake Griffin.

Have you not been paying attention the last 20 years? Stars rarely participate in these things. This is nothing new.

Yes I have, and the only reason BG is a star is because of his dunking ability. Nobody would know who he was if he was just a regular power forward in the NBA.

Well, he was a college All American, the #1 pick in the draft, and ROY. I agree that his dunking has helped elevate him to start status, but he's still a really good player. And really good players have tended to stay away from the dunk contest the last 20 years or so. But I wish he'd do it, too. I'd like to see it.

Even with all that athletic ability, 3 PF in his conference( two in his division) rank ahead of him.
