League of Legends graves/soraka

Anyone have any idea how to stop this seemingly invincible lane combo (graves/soraka)? Every game I play against them at bottom lane, they're just an unstoppable rape train with no brakes devouring the butt meat of anyone foolish enough to stand in the way. Graves gets just too tanky to kill between his passive, sorakas passive, and the armor from her heal. And if it's a decent graves it's near impossible to get close to soraka. This has caused me so much rage and I'm hoping someone out there has a counter to it.

Maokai+Vayne
At least that's my goto combination when I need to dominate.
And I'm guessing your jungler sucks a bit? Any dominant lane pairing can really be put off track by a decent jungler.

Thats a good combo, i play vayne so thatll be easy to get used to. but yeah usually when they dominate there is a crappy jungle

And I play Mao. I dominate every time I partner with a good Vayne. I know there are better combos, though, I just prefer that. lots of utility with Mao's skillset and Vayne'sn range/chase.
The combo either allows you to bully them back to the tower, OR they overplay UNDER the seeds, and Vayne tears them up. Free wards with Mao too, so you're covered. Mao has good lane stay, but he must go full support, because Vayne needs the kills and the damage.
Cait/Soraka was a killer combo a few months ago, and I used to pound them into the ground. Graves is tankier, but I figure he still can't outdo Vayne's range.

At higher elos you cannot kill them unless they over extend or your jungler comes to your lane for a gank.
Soraka makes it to where her carry farms for 20 minutes uninterrupted then wins the game.

I play at 1600 elo, so not crazy high but not bad. and every time i see them i just wanna run into traffic

a good stun combo team can beat them like an ali trist/cait or taric trist/cait. I have a harder time against a sona because she can keep her partner and herself fully healed with her aoe heal.

Missed this the first time around. Sivir is a good counter to graves but both of u are just going to be farming the entire time anyway so it doesn't really matter.
Tristana is better than graves late game as well IMO.
If you really want to kill graves early I guess u could try an alistar/rumble lane and get the jungles to gank at lvl 2. Ali flash headbutt while others do damage wait for him to flash out and pulverize

( ) Jump behind them and do it nasty style to them and control the game
( ) Hand the other team free gold and spoon feed them to victory

I find I don't feed a lot. I do have a lot of deaths from being so squishy. But I usually have at least 2 kills for every death. You just have to pick and choose your targets properly; there's no point in going after a tank, he's designed to take out all the nukes sitting in the back.

It's also really fun when the squishies are grouped up and low enough on health where R and W combined kills them and you get a triple kill and look like a BAWSS

I finally hit 30. Haven't tried ranked.

I find I need to improve on my situational item buying.. I have a build and I follow it, but sometimes I find that I suck until late game because I had a bad early game or something. Talon's laning sucks balls, so it's easy for me to have a bad early game. I usually bounce back, though.

I find that sometimes too. But the game can change so quickly, it's hard to plan for the end at all.
