On defense ya need the same thing but it can come from different positions. Sharper was like that at FS in '09. Polomalu, Ray Lewis, Ware, Jared Allen, Suh, etc.- those kinda players are not only impacting at their position but they affect the performance of the whole defense.
Besides someone new I think Jenkins, Wilson, and Galette could still step up into that kinda player.

thats why I like David too, I think he would mesh well into that young core , and hopefully get this D going in the right direction. I just hope he doesn't break out and beast at the combine, and somehow slip out of range.
