trying not to relapse just yet.

I went to one of the Senior Bowl practices, the North team on a Wednesday morning, a very crucial day. Two guys that caught my attention were Vinny Curry and Mike Martin. Curry did an excellent job in the one on one drills. He did a good job against the big offensive tackle from Ohio State, the Adams kid I believe. Also lined up on Kevin Zeitler's outside shoulder at one point and blew right past him.

When they went eleven on eleven and the offense started running plays, he wasn't as impressive. I don't know if he was tired or anything like that but he also saw double teams in that portion.

Mike Martin was a fricking beast. This guy was owning the Ohio State center almost every play. He looked like a high motor guy who could provide some push up the middle. When I say high motor, I mean he seemed to bring it every play. Walter's mock had us taking him in the second round. I'd like to us get a LB or a DE first but I wouldn't be disappointed with this guy.

I've always heard that the one on one drills were the most important part of the SR Bowl. It's especially helpful to see small school guys perform against the bigger ones.

Will have to check into Martin. Ellis is in the last year of his contract. If they don't see him long term DT could be a much bigger need. Most prolly think one of Rogers or Franklin will be back but that isn't in stone.

Positional need could change radically. An impact player signed or a Colston or Nicks departure would alter it a lot.
