Right...

So LSU has developed WR's the past four/five years to reach their potential and thus help their Draft stock?

No.

Wasn't RR one of the top yardage and TD guys in the SEC this year??

And that was WITH subpar QB play.......

Early Doucet and Dwayne Bowe pitched in a Hi for ya too.

It's a shame LSU does so little with WRs...

Did Bama develop Julio? You should really leave this board.

OBJ will be laughing his way to the first round. Even with an "unproven QB."

So LSU has developed, utilized, helped the Draft stock of their WR's the past four/five years?

Don't understand how one could answer yes to that question.

Has our guys put up gawdy numbers like guys from SC and OSU.....no

But not many have in the SEC.

LSUs offense under Jordan Jefferson killed WRs. LSUs offense under better passing QBs has been fine at developing WRs.

Are any of them out performing their selection in the draft? Name one that has outperformed where he was taken.

JJ can be blamed for a lot of issues while at LSU but receiver development isn't one. Megatron had Ball for Petes sake.

ok, Jordan Jefferson did a great job of getting the football to WRs.

And do you think any of the WR discussed in this thread are--or ever could have been--as good as Megatron is? The most physically gifted WR ever succeeded in spite of terrible QB play, so our WR should have, as well?

Lafell is the only WR to come out of LSU to past four seasons, and he was drafted lower than he could have potentially been drafted with his talent level.

If you don't think the schools competing with us for WR recruits say "Look at what's happened with all those highly recruited WR's LSU has gotten the past few years, they haven't been utilized/deeveloped properly," then you're the ignorant one.

He'd be foolish to come here with no proven QB, and the way WR's potential NFL careers have died here the past five years.

Tolliver, LaFell, Byrd, Bowe, Davis, Doucet all drafted from LSU and RR2 will be drafted this year.

Let's be honest, if RR2 would come back for his senior year, he would be a top 3 WR in next year's draft. Look at his first 8 games of production when we had a QB that was decent at throwing the ball.

Stop with the whole "NFL careers have died" crap. Bad QB play knocks out WRs and JJ had bad QB play. Everything I have seen about Mett says he will be a massive upgrade at the position. Take your dark cloud elsewhere.

BL 792 11tds
TR 735 3tds
RR 917 8tds

Jordan Jefferson got the ball to all 3 well enough to go over 700 yards. I don't see where they were all so hindered while at LSU. 700+ yards and 8+rds along with a good combine is money. Lafell was and should have been a third round pick. TT was and should have been an UDFA..

Maybe he looked at the passing game for the most recent 4 years and said No.

Even just seeing the BCSNC game would turn any WR away. Miles did not even try to get the ball to our future Pro WR, Randle .........

Recruiting QB and WR against Miles right now would be like taking candy from a baby.
