Yes. I think the decision Les made to play only Jefferson in the National Championship had a negative effect on Kiel.

This years LSU team will be reflected in the 2013 class. Expect a Top class next year. The 2012 class is largely recruited off the 11-2 Cotton Bowl winning team

and I think Kiel didn't want to sit for 1 or 2 years behind the Mettswagga

I don't know about not playing lee but the offensive schemes used in the last half of the season definetly affected some offensive recruits decisions and also affected some of our current players decisions.

I wasn't specifically talking about Les playing Lee. I just think Les's decision to stick with Jefferson no matter how bad he was playing was negative. Can you imagine if we were in the NC game in 2014 and Mett is having a bad game. Kiel is sitting on the bench knowing he could come in and help the team and Les doesn't give him a chance. Timing by Kiel to make the decision to go to ND speaks volumes.

The proof is in the recruiting............ All our best recruites were committed before the BCSCG.

Could you imagine how much a coach that stands behind and stays committed to his starting QB would have a POSITIVE influence on a QB?
