So here's the deal:
I'm planning on proposing to my girlfriend in a couple weeks in NO. I'd like to do it before dinner privately and then surprise her by having her family waiting for us at dinner right after. I need a suggestion of a good restaurant, nice but casual, for a party of about 10-12 people, in or around the CBD / warehouse district. I considered Cochon - my girlfriend and I have been wanting to try it for a while. Would anyone recommend this or any others? Thanks in advance.
I love Cochon but that is not romantic or the spot to propose at all.
Le Foret. TRUST ME. (EDIT: Sorry, didn't read the casual part. They are not casual. Why would you want a casual atmosphere for a proposal?)

Just to clarify:
I am NOT proposing at the restaurant. I am proposing somewhere private before we get to the restaurant. I just want a cool place for 10-12 people to celebrate afterwards. She will think we are going to a private dinner but her entire family will be there as a surprise. Hence it does not necessarily need to be romantic.
