Really? You equate a adult who gets paid millions of dollars to coach, and who is on the state payroll, to an 18yo kid from Indiana who decided he didn't want to play football 900 miles away? Sorry, that's fricking stupid.

No one on this site knows what's it like to be in his position. No one knows what he's discussing with his family, coaches, advisers. No one can say how they would react in the same situation.

So no, his character is not at issue here. It's unfortunate that his decision has cost LSU an OL commit, but that's life.

I don't think a "commitment" changes depending on your age... If he had not really made up his mind then why tell a coaching staff you have?

this is the recruiting game, and im fine with it. i think character comes into play when they cant just make the decision public. he changed his mind, im disappointed, but it happens. put out a statement and be done with it. end all the speculation and smoke hovering around the situation.


and i hope he lobbed miles a call. its a tough call to make, but a necessary one IMO
