so what are the positives of liggins?

He reminds me of Rohan Davey. Bigger and a better athlete with somewhat similar arm strength and good leadership skills. If he turns out like Davey I'll be pleased.

He is a leader so that makes him better than JJ already.

I wish LSU would just not sign a QB this season & address that position next year. I think there are better prospects at other positions that would help the program more than Liggins that should be offered.

He can move to DT if he doesn't work out at QB.

Like replacing a few lost WR's would be a helluva good start.

After the 2008 QB debacle of Perriloux to Hatch to Lee to Jefferson, I'd rather have a QB in every class.

From wat I've seen he is a poor mans RP need 2 lose sum weight cuz the speeds there but he will never throw like RP & espn ranks him 121 I guess that's good
