I love Miles, but I'm pissed at him right now. Getting Shep to buy back in and stay, is a step to getting him back in my good graces. It's been a dark few days.

A couple of days ago, it looked like the program was going into total meltdown.

Yeah, finishing at #2 while going 13-1 and 9-0 in the SEC is a real "total meltdown" happening.

Lighten up, Francis.

This was our best SEC season since 61 and our best regular season ever.

I'm sure Coach is really concerned over some being upset with the results achieved by this
team.

It's our best season since 2003, when we went 13-1 and WON the BCSNCG.

Regular season equates to before a bowl game.

13-0 this regular season and 12-1 in the regular season of 03.

You do that.

I'll take the most successful coach in LSU history who picked LSU over another high profile school when he was offered that schools job over a coach who jumped to leave LSU for a high profile job.

I wound trade for Saban straight up any day. 3 national chaps or 1 and he just stole Landon collins. I despise alabama and Saban but your delusional if you think miles is on the same planet as Saban. Miles can't gameplan a lick.

Yea, Yea, Miles is on the road to redemption with Tiger fans.....Until, of course, he has Mettenberger running the option for 4 quarters against the Trojans in BCSNC 2013 down in Miami.

i dont expect to win every championship game but i do expect to be able to compete. our defense was great all season and our offense sucked most of the season. i know we scored 40 points a game but we all know it was the special teams and defense setting it up. get us a great offensive coordinator and lets throw the ball when were supposed to.

Les Miles is good man and will be successful inspite of this loss. He will replace Charlie Mac as the best coach at LSU. I love Charlie Mac however he never won like Les. It is a damn shame so many do not see it ... they will after he is gone ... maybe.

I was really aggravated with him this past week but it's time to let it go. I'm not going to hold a grudge.

I love the guy and am one of his biggest defenders.

We'll be fine.

btw...the short title is the reason this thread got the anchor

Then he goes to personally visit Shep, and looks like he has made the save of his career!

Do you think Les went after Shep on his own in an attempt to start working towards next year already, or do you think he was nudged by the AD or other upset supporters?

I think it was Les looking forward but have been asked the question so i thought i would bring it up.
