Sooner if we're lucky ... and the sooner the better.

I think the healing process will start sooner if Mettenburger has a great Spring game.

The bleeding will stop after the first convincing W over North Texas. The scab will be gone after we beat Nick Saban and Alabama on Nov. 3. The wound will be completely healed after we win it all in Miami (hopefully against USC). The scar will always be there for most fans unless Les beats Saban year in and year out (Mederma).

Some of this bitching is OK as long as its respectful for what LSU did accomplish this year. But you want them also to learn how to be better next year because of the pre-season rank. Maybe this loss will carry you like our loss to AU last year. It can drive you through the off season. Saban said last year that our players were better conditioned than he's ever seen going into the spring. I can see this LSU team doing the same.

I think mettenberger having a great spring game will just make fans question the coaches about not starting him over JJ and JL this season.

Never. Students will tell their grand kids how Miles' affinity for JJ cost LSU a title in their eyes. Mett doing good will only strengthen their feelings. frick'em

Its been quite a roller coaster for the last few days. Ill feel better when something good finally happens for the program. Its been nothing but bad news since the gunner decision. A new commitment would do wonders.

It will never fully heal bc this loss cannot be avenged. LSU will never get the chance to ruin a perfect bama season in the last game. We've already learned how meaningless a regular season win over bama is.

I'm already over it. I'm just tired of football honestly. LOVE the game, but I'm burnt. Will enjoy the NFL playoffs though!

They won't heal until they win a National Title.

The players weren't the problem, Miles was.
