Ridiculous. This is the problem with some LSU fans. One bad game and the critics come forth, spouting off.
Get over it. Next season looks like a good one.
We will all survive. We should congratulate Coach Saban and Alabama for a great game and move on.
GET OVER IT!!!!!

Still spreading more Lies? JJ was more likely to urn the ball over this season than Lee. FACT Lee took far less sacks than JJ this year. FACT MoreOrLes still spreading lies. FACT. ETA: LEE has the second longest STREAK IN LSU HISTORY WITHOUT A INT. FACT
Fact......JL was much more effective against mediocre defenses.
JJ AND JL were not good enough to do well against ONE team.....Bama
Not to many were......JL does not take sacks because he throws no matter what.....and Bama made him pay while other D's did not.
Mett will make us all forget both very soon.

Really? I could have sworn JJ and JL beat Bama twice in a row, one time this year, before Monday.

Welcome to our world.
Nick Saban has taken a page from the book of bear bryant.
These days, not many people remember what the SEC was like with bryant around. He used every means possible to tilt the field in Alabama's favor, both legal and illegal.
Do you really believe that bear bryant was such a dominating coach because he just knew X's and O's that much better than all other coaches in the country? Hell, no. He won that much because he stacked the deck so high. The old saying that he could beat you his players and then turn around and beat you with yours couldn't be further from the truth. He didn't want any of your crappy players, and he made damn sure you didn't get any that he wanted. In most cases, the game was lost before you ever stepped foot on the field.
Saban has done the same. Do you really believe that Alabama's coaching staff is just heads and shoulder's so much better than LSU's that LSU doesn't even look to be in the same league? Of course not.
Saban will continue to ignore recruiting rules. He'll continue to oversign and process out the kids when he lands someone better. He'll continue to pretend he doesn't know anything about the T-town menswear network operating at full steam.
He came to Alabama with a very clear directive: win at all costs.
Until someone calls him on it, playing Alabama today will be like playing Alabama under bryant: you're facing a massive uphill battle before you ever step on the field.
The NCAA isn't going to do anything about it unless the other members of the SEC demand it.
People better wake up.

JL had nothing to do with beating Bama on Nov. 5th.....

Sabam made Miles quit. There is not dodging that fact.

Says it all.
And yes, I am still pissed. Miles was inept in his game preparation and adjustments. Totally incompetent.

In truth, the only person who quit was Miles. He refused to give the team a chance to win with his inexplicable game plan and Miles lost his team in the middle of the third qtr. Overall the direction of the LSU team seems to be positive but Monday night can be a game changer for a program when the fans and the players question the competance of the head coach.

Actually, I already know you are right.
As an LSU fan, I know Bama ALWAYS wins in the end. Even if you beat them. I need to add this to my "know your place" thread.

Youre not very smart are you?
Bama schemed for Lee. They were caught off guard by the option
This time they schemed for the option (as did WKU, and Arky, and Ga), and would have had to adjust to Lee.
But Miles didn't make them adjust. Ever. He kept waiting for Chavis to score.
Saban made him quit

Actually I would say Saban's team quit at their own house against Auburn last year and that was against their hated rival as well, and they came back. Sometimes a heartbreaking loss can fuel a team to become flat out mean and that is what my hope is for this LSU team. LSU will finally have a decent QB that can give them balance and confidence; the sky is definitely not falling in my opinion-the loss hurts really deep, but it may be a blessing in disguise. I know many won't agree, but sports has a funny way of redeeming people if they show mental strength. This team and its coaches just need to sharpen its focus next year and make it all about football and nothing else. Sorry for longer post.
