I can say this with certainty, as it came from someone that spoke directly to RS father. RS was leaning to UT. Mac Brown told him he would not play QB. When he met with Miles, he was told he was being recruited as a QB and would be "competing" for that position. That is the reason he chose LSU. What happened after he arrived, I don't know.
