I have fished a few rodeo's with my Pop's out in the marsh, and I have never fished a Bass Tournament. What are some good ones that a newb can enter and what are the entry fees?

No idea on your area, but I have a suggestion. Take it or leave it.

You need 5 bites. That's it. Catching 100 12" fish won't win you squat most of the time. 5 bites.

Your best bet would be to find a local bass club in your area.

These are some of the bigger ones they have each year;
Jacob Dugas Tournament
Bryan Harris Dreams Come True Bass Tournament
Childrens Miracle Network

I don't know if they announced dates yet though.

There is a local tournament every Wednesday for the spring and summer on the Diversion Canal. I think it starts after the time change...

You could find a partner and fish the Media Bass circuit, think it's about 5 tournys a year and relatively cheap

I have a partner, and we threw around the idea of joining a bass club...just didn't know how to do it

I would start by finding a local club to fish in. that would be a good place to get into tourney fishing and members would also know about the bigger tourneys. here is a link for the ALBC which sponsors the top 6 held on TB every year. The top 6 anglers fish as a team for that tourney.

good luck

Doiron's is a good circuit out of Stephensville, but bass club is the way to start if you are new.
