This is where I disagree. The only person he owes anything to is Lee. He owes the fans nothing. He will incur a lot of anger though without some explanation. That's his choice though

I agree. Everyone I know has to answer for the decisions they make on a daily basis at their jobs, some even in a public forum. It's time he come clean with LSU.

I totally agree
GG wrote a great column this time. He's spot-on!
quote:

"...he should have been playing Lee in spots here and there ever since the first Alabama game. That would have given LSU a more varied attack. Jefferson struggled in nearly every game as a starter. LSU kept winning, but only because of special teams and defense. Gradually, the offense got worse and worse."
We all saw it as JJ took the team's 2011 offensive production back to 2009 levels.

exactly... miles is to the point of acting like he's untouchable.. He needs to be responsible for his actions.

I do agree with this. The offense was reverting back to early 2010 form. Both QB's should have been splitting time, at the least.

I agree. And you know why its spot on?? Because its the truth, its not Gulbeau grinding some axe(well, maybe...)but its accurate and there is no defending what we saw...

GG's article is pretty much spot on

Les preached and preached that playing 2 QB's gave us an advantage. But he seemed to only spew that BS when people asked him why he put JJ in games that Lee was playing well in. But then Lee has ONE BAD GAME and doesn't see any meaningful PT the rest of the year

In the end, Miles' non-use of Lee from the first Alabama game on was nothing but ridiculous.

Its that kind of thinking that brings a program down. As I said in an earlier thread, LSU is a public supported/funded entity....believe me he owes plenty.

I still think this is going to do immeasurable damage to our recruiting down the road!

so everyone would be happier if Miles threw Lee under the bus for the off the field stuff and this would somehow make Miles a better man and make Lee feel better?

am i understanding this moronic opinion correctly?
