If you were an Arky fan, would you ignore Petrino's character

just because he tends to win games?

If Petrino came here, would you suddenly forget all the negatives you've said about Petrino?

Character matters. Stop citing a 13-1 record like that shite is the be all end all. Yeah, I like winning but that doesn't obligate me to think the guy doing the winning is a good guy when he most certainly demonstrated he is not.

SFP. I think you're actually on board with my point.

Oh, and no. I can't say I think he has.

Character? Your shitty little character rant from the other thread wasn't good enough for its own, and from the way you're using it, I'm not even sure you know what the hell the word means. All the articles in the world before the game spoke of Les and his high character and family values. Character is declining your alma mater twice on the basis of them not respecting that you need to at least finish the season. It's not character that affected anything.

Wow i didn't know the character of a coach is to make sure everyone plays and everyone is happy i thought it was to win. Look i feel bad for Lee to but Its miles job to put us inthe best position he feels we need t be in to win. Yes mistakes can happen but enough of this crap this is not pee wee football and you are not ther coach so stop with the character crap kids get benched all the time and they might be better than the person ahead of them. That does not mean the coach is bad charater it means he thinks the other is better. Its called making a coaching decision some work some don't!! And he didn't quit he just did what we have done all year he thought the oline would wear them down and take over but they didn't they were dominated which is were all the problems began!!

I wouldn't forget it, I'd embrace it. I'd talk about our awesome coach. Like Wing going bad mouth every player in sight. It's stupid as hell and annoying. He's a punter. He should learn his place. But since he's on our team, I think he's a badass

I seriously doubt he quit!! he did what we have done all year when we went down to Georgia and arkansas he ran the football!! Let's stop acting as if we had a dynamic passing game with either QB we passed for 200 yards 2 times this year!! and bama was th best defence in the country. So all that happen was the coaches relied on ou strenght the oline. But they failed and got dominated. Would have like to see a qb change but don't think it would have changed bama did exactly what they did in game 1 they just clean up there option principles. The passing game was non exsistant in every game we struggled running the ball.

He did even worse. He left the Atlanta Falcons mid-season. That is the epitome of quit.

Yes he punted on 4th down probrobly hoping to get a turnover or pinning them deep our defence for most of the year made big plays in theses spots the offense had 90 yards of offence petty sure going for it on 4th would not have worked but maby a muffed punt might give us good field positon or hope the D can make a turnover like they have doen all year!! Yes i think if i was miles i would see if my play making D or special teams can make a play rather than the sputering offense with the oline that couldn't block! i sure we would have made the 1st down. He tried to use his best weapons. Wing and the D. I understand the perception slow flow but i would say the D coming up with a play or special teams play was more likely than converting a 4th down with that offense.

If this is your definition of quitting then Petrino quit against Bama this year. Saban quit against USCe last year and Utah in 08. And, well, every coach has done it at some point.
