This is the first one i've posted in. I'm surpised you can type with Lee's cock in your mouth
bullshite, based on your first post.
BTW if this is the level of your comebacks...you sound like you'd fit right in on Miles staff. The level of pathetic will be right on par.

quote:I suspect he did, and you're right. JL benched after 2 INTs; JJ continues playing no matter how poorly he performed.
Worse, he's going to KEEP your job now matter HOW SHITTY he plays!! You think JL didn't know that? I suspect he did.

It wasn't JL's job until Shadygate. Coaches have ALWAYS thought JJ was better. Don't know why but they did.
JJ was reclaiming his own job.
Before you blast me, I feel bad for JL. He should have gotten more than a kneel against GA and should have gotten some PT in the MNC.

He does bring up a legit point though
JJ took valuable practice and game reps from Lee before the first Bama game was even played
I'm convinced JJ coming back hurt this team more than he helped

quote:He stated what he already knew was going to happen. He knew even if he played poorly, he was the man. Les knew it, and Lee knew it.
Our starting QB wanted to start? It all makes sense now.

Watch the game again and it almost appears that les and the staff purposely set him up for failure to bring in JJ.
That is one of the most ignorant things I've ever heard.
No kidding. This place is tin foil hat all kinds of crazy nuts right now.

How Miles handled JL is the ONLY question that should be getting asked and it should be getting asked until it is answered.

It was crystal clear to me as I was watching that game that this was the case.

7th.. We get it.. You don't like lee, or you like jj I'm really not sure which.. But you're being just as irrational as the rest of them.
It's obvious to any tiger fan that lees performance suffered when the threat of being benched on one mistake surfaced visa vi the reinstatement of jefferson

Miles admitted to phasing JL out by giving JJ most of the reps. to get him up to speed. We all knew that Les was going to do it. He gave Krags direct orders when hired to make JJ better. Les hated the thought of Lee being the QB. He wants to be the the reincarnate of Bo. Rough and tough, just run the other team in the ground. Well the last three years the offense has passed the ball Les and Les. Didn't matter who the coordinator is. Les imposed his will. Alabama is to tough to just line up and run the ball. The wide receivers are pissed. His stubbornness was ok because he kept winning. Saban knew he would not change his game plan and just sat back and laughed his way to the championship. I would love to hear what Stud and Krags would say if given a free leash.

Frankly, we need to keep the Lee threads going until Les explains and apologizes for not giving Lee a shot!

After 11/5 apparently the "burden", to use CLM's term of the offense was lifted...whatever he meant by that crap

I had almost forgotten about that remark!

threat of being benched on one mistake

How do you fail to see this?
I'm not defending Miles; but this one mistake thing is in every way incorrect.

Then why didn't he start sucking against Kentucky?
Lee had his worst completion % of the season against Kentucky. Remember, the game with 8 dropped passes in the first half.

Doc I remember scratching my head when that quote first came out wondering what he meant by it, but I think it's pretty clear now. The burden was that he wasnt running the offense he wanted, and the offense he wanted was on display in full force on Monday, with warning flags at the SECC game and the Arky game. After 11/5, there was no more controversy at QB, it was JJ all the way. After watching things play out, in retrospect, I believe wholeheartedly that the confusion on offense Monday and the similar confusion throughout 2010 were a direct result of Miles' influence on the offense.
