I know the circumstances suck right now. However, we would not have been in this position without his leadership. LSU will win the national championship next year! You will not find another coach besides Saban who is crazy enough to come to LSU and produce like Miles has done for the past couple of years. Believe it or not, it is tough being the head football coach at Louisiana State University. We are so used to winning that it is almost dangerous. Remember the days when we sucked? But now, we have all these bandwagon fans who like to bitch and moan because of whatever reasons. It's Wednesday and I am still sick. Yet, I am getting ready for next year.

There are at least 50 other coaches that could walk into the situation at LSU and win next year. Miles wins with good assistants, loses with crappy assistants and loses when he has to make decisions (i.e. clock management, personnel, etc). Miles can recruit, but recruiting LSU is not that difficult.

My faith is shaken, given that:

(1) We just lost the best recruit in Louisiana to Bama; and

(2) Miles and his staff were indisputably schooled on Monday night.

If an employee, employer, coworker had shite the bed as badly as Miles did on Monday would you still have complete confidence in that person? Let's say you work in conditions where said person's lack of competency actually dangers your well being? I guess my point is what is so special about being the coach of LSU that people should completely disregard their powers of observation vis a vis his competency?

There is no reason not to he is the same coach that lead us to NC. Yes they coach and players played a horrible game, but don't let all the Bull crap bieng spewed believe that he quit. He did not quit tis just went bad no one said he quit he might have been uncharatoristic in the game but he was more than likely in shock they way things went. Just like te players.

I have no doubt that all these rumors are crap and he is back to work. Guys rethink going pro after every bowll game and everyone is always upset after a loss.

Miles gave us the fourth best season in LSU history and has us set to make another run this year.

The amount of limp wrist chicken littles who dont know a 4-3 from a 3-4 calling for his head is funny if it wasnt so pathetic.

Miles should do the honorable thing and turn in all the Coach of the Year trophies he was given. I always think those things are premature the last game anyhow. It's obvious he was reading his own press and attaboy with the rest of the staff until they got bulldozed

Monday night was terrible but honestly if everyone would take a step back and reevaluate things have looked worse over the tenure of Miles.....Ole Miss in 2009 and Tenn in 2010 are two things right off the top of my head. Yes we played terrible Yes Lee should have gone in but for goodness sakes it was the NC game. We had a chance to make history so thats why it sucks but things arent that bad. Players and fans need to calm down. Mainly fans. Most of the team leaders have been very calm and collected in what they have said on twitter etc. Only Shep seems to be making a rash decision. Brockers and RR have high draft stock its normal for them to leave. Boone appears to have lost what got him to LSU and been passed on the depth chart its normal for a guy like that to transfer. Theres only one guy (shep) who is leaving that has me worried at all about the team morale.

Now that JJ/Lee are gone everything is looking up. I am glad that chapter is closed. I have never seen a coach believe in a player more than Miles did in Jefferson. Miles favorite player of all time was JJ easily.

I still find it unexcusable that Miles was totally nonchalant for this game and totally lacked a solid, creative gameplan.

here's a sorta outside opinion. though i'm a uga fan i'm from BR and i usually pull hard for LSU too.

LSU has had a DOMINANT decade. but prior to that it had been 40 years of mediocrity.

Mon was BRUTAL. It is justified to call Coach Miles into question for that offensive game plan and inability to adjust. Fan opinions usually aint worth squat, but in this case the criticism is justified.

LSU is looking good. But there are no guarantees for the future. You hate to see that kind of opportunity squandered.
