The biggest problem I have with ULL calling themselves the University of Louisiana is that they are essentially, in my opinion, trying to claim themselves to be the flagship of the UL System which is not accurate.

UL Lafayette is a name. It doesn't make us any more important than any other of the 120 FBS schools.

Can you really buy a football season ticket package for $50.00 to the Cajun games?
Don't worry about how someone else defines/values your program. $50 tells you everything you need to know.
Maybe this "special" championship you guys are claiming will allow the athletic dpeartment to increase a seson ticket to a whopping $65

Almost, $75. Why don't you purchase some and come pass yourself a good time?
Sure, we don't have a full 93,000 seat stadium. But this past season showed that we can fill our stadium to capacity and host some exciting football games. Awesome tailgating has always been there.
I guarantee you'll have a good time.
I think we should make a new pitch to our Louisiana recruits though: "Come play at Cajun Field, where we play to win, not play to avoid the boos."
By the way, the championship was special to me. I'm sure you long tenured LSU fans can appreciate a very good season after a very long drought.

FYI season tickets are around $250. At least we don't boo our quarterback in the biggest game of his collegiate career on a 13-0 season. The problem we have is not with Louisiana State University but it's unruly fans. Yes you made it to the BCS title game and that is a big accomplishment but it's not a reason to turn on the team when they are losing 21-0. Those men played their hearts out and were treated like children. If UL had lost to San diego st we wouldn't boo them or disrespect them for their performance because they gave their all.

I'd have been happy if UL had just got to play in a bowl game Willie. Instead they went 2-8 and coughed up a lung late in the game against ULL.
